About
We are introducing the use of .338 ammunition at Bisley, through our new .338 Member Days. Under the supervision of an experienced NRA Range Officer, this is the only opportunity for NRA Members to use .338 at Bisley.
These Member Days will be on Stickledown, at 900yrds, with the option to fall-back to 1000yrds (dependant on the RO and other attendees).
A special HME zeroing procedure will apply, to be conducted on Butt Zero from the 900x firing point. A specifically designed .338 zeroing target will be provided and the RO will sign off your zero before permitting you to move on to the 900x target.
After signing in on the day, members will then meet the Range Officer by the 900x firing point on the left side of Stickledown. Following a short brief, shooting will then commence.
Members will have to provide their own rifles and ammunition.
Please note, the use of .338 ammunition is permitted ONLY on these designated Member Days days, and .338 is not to be used on any other occasion.
The only .338 calibre type permitted on these sessions will be .338 Lapua Magnum.
